Our family · Our farm · Maleny, Queensland

Raised by the land. Growing for the next generation.

We are the O’Meara family—a family of farmers, nutritionists, educators and children growing up with soil beneath their feet. Together, we are restoring this land and raising food we are proud to feed our own family and community.

THIS IS THE CHANGING HABITS FARM

See where your food begins.

Before the boxes, the recipes and the meals shared around a table, there is this place—the soil, the cattle and the people caring for both. Let our farm film introduce you to the land behind your food.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND YOUR FOOD

Many hands. One living farm.

Changing Habits Farm is owned and nurtured by the O’Meara family. Howard and Cyndi gave the family vision a home here in 2015, while Brogan has led the daily work of the farm for almost a decade. Monique brings her experience as a qualified nutritionist, connecting what happens on the land with the families we feed.

It is family work, strengthened by a small and deeply valued farm team.

HOW WE FARM

Nature is not the obstacle. Nature is the teacher.

Our decisions begin with the soil. By working with natural systems, grazing thoughtfully and allowing the land time to recover, we grow healthier pastures and raise cattle with care.

Regenerative grazing

Cattle moved with purpose; paddocks given time to rest.

Soil before shortcuts

No herbicides, pesticides or synthetic fertilisers.

Life returning

Biodiversity, native planting, waterways and pasture working together.
